A Few Guidelines
This is a serious forum. We expect everyone will use standard English and articulate their thoughts clearly and coherently. Bloggers should also stick to issues and avoid frivolous comments. Your posts and comments should be characterized by good arguments, but don't be argumentative. Disagreement on an issue does not have to mean conflict. Let's strive to clarify at which points we may disagree for the purpose of understanding another's position; in this way, we will learn a great deal from each other. It should go without saying the following, but I think it important to say it anyway. No posts or comments should ever contain any language that is profane, slang, or intended to offend people or cultures. Posts or comments containing any offensive language will be deleted, and could result in the author being banned from the site.
